GLM, LLC has announced that its Gourmet Housewares Show® will move to New York City, beginning in January 2011, to be presented annually within the winter edition of the New York International Gift Fair® (NYIGF®), the nation’s premier gift, home and lifestyle marketplace.
This strategic co-location will bring some 150 new exhibitors, showcasing gourmet housewares, cookware and specialty foods, to NYIGF, complementing the Fair’s existing Tabletop & Housewares division, for a comprehensive presentation of 350 gourmet kitchenware and specialty tabletop resources. Relocation plans were developed in response to an industry-wide survey that revealed a need for a housewares event at the beginning of the calendar year.
This new market platform offers advantageous 1st quarter timing and expanded cross-marketing opportunities to benefit both retailers and vendors and, with NYIGF’s semi-annual timing, affords a 3rd quarter market opportunity for interested exhibitors.
